Today’s foreign currency exchange rates



KATHMANDU: Nepal Rastra Bank has fixed the exchange rates of foreign currencies for today (Tuesday).

According to the central bank, the exchange rates for the US dollar, Kuwaiti dinar, and Bahraini dinar have declined, while the rates for currencies such as the Australian dollar, euro, and British pound have increased.

Today, the buying rate for one US dollar is NPR 136.32 and the selling rate is NPR 136.92. On Monday, the buying rate was NPR 136.63 and the selling rate was NPR 137.23.

Similarly, the buying rate for one euro today is NPR 155.72 and the selling rate is NPR 156.40. Yesterday, the euro was bought at NPR 155.05 and sold at NPR 155.73.

The British pound is being bought at NPR 184.58 and sold at NPR 185.40 today. On Monday, the buying rate was NPR 183.91 and the selling rate was NPR 184.72.

LIkewise, the Australian dollar’s buying rate is NPR 88.41 and the selling rate is NPR 88.80, compared to yesterday’s rates of NPR 87.87 and NPR 88.26 respectively.

The buying rate for one Kuwaiti dinar stands at NPR 444.73 and the selling rate at NPR 446.69. On Monday, the rates were NPR 445.27 and NPR 447.22.

Similarly, the Bahraini dinar is being bought at NPR 361.61 and sold at NPR 363.20 today. Yesterday, the buying rate was NPR 362.41 and the selling rate was NPR 364.01.

Nepal Rastra Bank has noted that these rates are subject to revision at any time as needed. It has also clarified that the exchange rates set by commercial banks may vary and the updated rates can be accessed on the central bank’s official website.
