NRB releases today’s foreign exchange rates



KATHMANDU: Nepal Rastra Bank has published the foreign exchange rates for today. As per the official figures, the buying rate for one US dollar has been set at NPR 135.04, while the selling rate is NPR 135.64.

The euro is being bought at NPR 153.13 and sold at NPR 153.81. Similarly, one pound sterling is being bought at NPR 179.55 and sold at NPR 180.35. The buying rate for the Swiss franc stands at NPR 163.91, with a selling rate of NPR 164.64.

The Australian dollar is being bought at NPR 86.91 and sold at NPR 87.30. The Canadian dollar is set at NPR 97.71 for buying and NPR 98.14 for selling.

Likewise, the buying rate for one Singapore dollar is NPR 104.19, while the selling rate is NPR 104.66.

Among Asian currencies, 10 Japanese yen are being bought at NPR 9.35 and sold at NPR 9.39. The Chinese yuan has been fixed at NPR 18.57 for buying and NPR 18.65 for selling.

The Saudi Arabian riyal stands at NPR 36.01 (buying) and NPR 36.17 (selling), while the Qatari riyal is being traded at NPR 37.05 (buying) and NPR 37.21 (selling).

The Thai baht is being bought at NPR 4.09 and sold at NPR 4.11. The UAE dirham is priced at NPR 36.77 for buying and NPR 36.93 for selling. The Malaysian ringgit is trading at NPR 31.69 for buying and NPR 31.83 for selling.

The rate for 100 South Korean won is NPR 9.65 for buying and NPR 9.69 for selling. The Swedish kronor is being bought at NPR 13.99 and sold at NPR 14.06, while the Danish kronor stands at NPR 20.52 (buying) and NPR 20.61 (selling).

The Hong Kong dollar is being traded at NPR 17.42 for buying and NPR 17.50 for selling.

Among the higher-value currencies, the Kuwaiti dinar is being bought at NPR 440.34 and sold at NPR 442.30. The Bahraini dinar is priced at NPR 358.18 (buying) and NPR 359.77 (selling), while the Omani rial stands at NPR 350.76 for buying and NPR 352.32 for selling.

Additionally, the exchange rate for 100 Indian rupees has been fixed at NPR 160.00 for buying and NPR 160.15 for selling.
