BAITADI: A tractor accident in Baitadi has claimed one life and injured another.
The tractor, traveling from Dhamkatte to Sinyakhet in Sigas Rural Municipality-3, overturned at Gadighadhi in the same ward this afternoon.
Police Inspector Indraraj Bhatta of the Area Police Office confirmed that 75-year-old Haruwa Saud of Dhamkatte died in the accident, while his 20-year-old grandson, Mahesh Saud, sustained injuries. Authorities are currently searching for the tractor driver, who fled the scene.
