PM Karki meeting with Chief Ministers of seven provinces



KATHMANDU: Prime Minister Sushila Karki is scheduled to hold a meeting with the Chief Ministers of all seven provinces this afternoon.

According to the Prime Minister’s Secretariat, the meeting will take place at the Prime Minister’s official residence in Baluwatar at 4 p.m. today (Sunday).

Chief Ministers attending the meeting include Hikmat Karki of Koshi Province, Jitendra Prasad Sonar of Madhes Province, Indra Bahadur Baniya of Bagmati Province, Surendra Pandey of Gandaki Province, Chetnarayan Acharya of Lumbini Province, Yamlal Kandel of Karnali Province, and Kamal Bahadur Shah of Sudurpaschim Province.

The Secretariat stated that the meeting has been convened to strengthen coordination and communication between the federal and provincial governments in light of the evolving political context, and to intensify intergovernmental cooperation moving forward.
