PM Oli and Vice President Han hold bilateral meeting



BEIJING: A bilateral meeting was held between Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli and Vice President of the People’s Republic of China Han Zheng at the Diaoyutai State Guesthouse in Beijing today. At the invitation of Chinese President Xi Jinping, Prime Minister Oli is currently on an official visit to China.

During the meeting, the Chinese side discussed about the expansion of bilateral diplomatic relations as well as the promotion of projects that would benefit both countries. Similarly, the Nepali side reiterated its clear commitment to the One-China policy and expressed its commitment not to allow its territory to be used against China.

On the occasion, Vice President Han hosted a dinner in honour of the visiting Nepali delegation.
Earlier, Prime Minister Oli left for Beijing today after attending the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) Plus Summit held in Tianjin.
