Bus crashes in Gorkha, dozens injured



KATHMANDU: A bus accident occurred early Tuesday morning in Gorkha. According to local resident Yadu Prasad Lamichhane, the bus was traveling from Kathmandu to Arughat Machikhola when it crashed at Gangatemod, Dandabesi, Bhimsen Thapa Rural Municipality-3.

The District Police Office in Gorkha confirmed that rescue operations are underway for the injured passengers. Details about the condition of those hurt have not yet been fully reported.

Dozens of passengers sustained injuries in the accident. Further information is awaited.
