Prime Minister Oli to leave for Beijing today



TIANJIN: After concluding the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) Plus Summit in Tianjin, Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli is set to leave for Beijing today.

In Beijing, Prime Minister Oli will meet with Chinese Vice President Han Zheng, and the Nepali delegation will attend a dinner hosted by the Vice President. Earlier, Oli held a bilateral meeting with Chinese President Xi Jinping in Tianjin.

As the final event of the visit, the Nepali delegation, alongside world leaders, will participate in the 80th anniversary celebrations of the victory in the World War Against Fascism and the Chinese People’s War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression on tomorrow (September 3). The delegation is scheduled to return to Nepal the same day.
