KATHMANDU: Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has published Tuesday’s foreign exchange rates. According to the central bank, the buying rate of one US dollar is 140 rupees 82 paisa, while the selling rate is 141 rupees 42 paisa.
The buying rate of one euro is 165 rupees 3 paisa, and the selling rate is 165 rupees 73 paisa. Similarly, the buying rate of one British pound sterling is 190 rupees 47 paisa, and the selling rate is 191 rupees 28 paisa. For the Swiss franc, the buying rate is 176 rupees 3 paisa, and the selling rate is 176 rupees 78 paisa.
Similarly, one Australian dollar is being bought at 92 rupees 32 paisa and sold at 92 rupees 71 paisa. The Canadian dollar is being bought at 102 rupees 48 paisa and sold at 102 rupees 92 paisa. The buying rate of one Singapore dollar is 109 rupees 72 paisa, and the selling rate is 110 rupees 19 paisa.
Ten Japanese yen are being bought at 9 rupees 57 paisa and sold at 9 rupees 61 paisa. One Chinese yuan is being bought at 19 rupees 74 paisa and sold at 19 rupees 82 paisa. The Saudi Arabian riyal has a buying rate of 37 rupees 53 paisa and a selling rate of 37 rupees 69 paisa, while the Qatari riyal is being bought at 38 rupees 63 paisa and sold at 38 rupees 80 paisa.
According to Nepal Rastra Bank, the buying rate of one Thai baht is 4 rupees 36 paisa and the selling rate is 4 rupees 38 paisa. The buying rate of one UAE dirham is 38 rupees 34 paisa, and the selling rate is 38 rupees 50 paisa. One Malaysian ringgit is being bought at 33 rupees 33 paisa and sold at 33 rupees 47 paisa. The rate for 100 South Korean won is 10 rupees 11 paisa for buying and 10 rupees 15 paisa for selling.
Likewise, the Norwegian krone is being bought at 14 rupees 98 paisa and sold at 15 rupees 5 paisa. The Danish kroner has a buying rate of 22 rupees 11 paisa and a selling rate of 22 rupees 20 paisa.
The central bank has fixed the buying rate of one Hong Kong dollar at 18 rupees 6 paisa and the selling rate at 18 rupees 14 paisa. The Kuwaiti dinar is being bought at 460 rupees 83 paisa and sold at 462 rupees 79 paisa.
The Bahraini dinar is being bought at 373 rupees 53 paisa and sold at 375 rupees 12 paisa, while the Omani rial has a buying rate of 365 rupees 78 paisa and a selling rate of 367 rupees 34 paisa.
For 100 Indian rupees, the buying rate is 160 rupees and the selling rate is 160 rupees 15 paisa.
Nepal Rastra Bank has clarified that these rates are subject to change as needed. Commercial banks may offer slightly different rates, and updated figures are available on the central bank’s website.
