Former Constituent Assembly member Ramayodhya Yadav passes away at 72



KATHMANDU: Former Constituent Assembly member Ramayodhya Yadav passed away on Wednesday morning at the age of 72.

He had been undergoing treatment for kidney-related complications and died at Healthcare Hospital in Birgunj, his son Dr. Jitendra Yadav confirmed.

A resident of Kawahi Jagat village in Subarna Rural Municipality-2 of Bara district, Yadav was elected to the second Constituent Assembly in 2013 from Bara Constituency-1 as a candidate of the Nepali Congress.

He is survived by his wife, two sons, and two daughters.
