Prachanda in Nepalgunj to continue Maoist’s Tarai-Madhesh Awakening Campaign



KATHMANDU: Pushpa Kamal Dahal “Prachanda,” Chair of the Maoist Center, arrived in Nepalgunj today as part of the Maoist Tarai-Madhes Awakening Campaign.

He is set to address the second conference of the Revolutionary Lumbini Province of the Nepal Communist Party (NCP) later today, according to his secretariat.

The Maoist Center has intensified its Tarai-Madhes Awakening Campaign following the recent royalist demonstrations, engaging directly with the public on April 3 and 4.

After completing the program in Nepalgunj, Dahal is scheduled to visit Banke and Bardiya, continuing his campaign efforts in the region.
