Today’s foreign currency exchange rates



KATHMANDU: Nepal Rastra Bank has announced the foreign currency exchange rates for today (Sunday).

Most exchange rates remained stable, but the rates for the US dollar, Kuwaiti dinar, and Bahraini dinar saw an increase, while the rates for the Australian dollar, euro, and British pound experienced a decrease. Foreign currencies will be traded at the same rates as on Saturday.

According to the central bank, the buying rate for 1 US dollar today is 139 rupees 70 paisa, with the selling rate at 140 rupees 30 paisa. These rates are unchanged from yesterday.

The buying rate for 1 euro today is 145 rupees 24 paisa, with the selling rate at 145 rupees 86 paisa, while the buying rate for 1 British pound is 175 rupees 84 paisa and the selling rate is 176 rupees 60 paisa.

For the Australian dollar, the buying rate is 86 rupees 82 paisa, and the selling rate is 87 rupees 20 paisa.

The buying rate for 1 Kuwaiti dinar today is 452 rupees 35 paisa, with the selling rate at 454 rupees 30 paisa, while the buying rate for 1 Bahraini dinar is 370 rupees 66 paisa, with the selling rate set at 372 rupees 25 paisa.

Nepal Rastra Bank has stated that these exchange rates are subject to change as necessary.

The exchange rates set by commercial banks may differ, and updated rates will be available on the central bank’s website.
