Maoist Center to launch 6-month nationwide campaign from Jhapa’s Kachankabal

KATHMANDU: The Maoist Center is set to begin a six-month nationwide campaign from Kachanakabal Rural Municipality in Jhapa on February 15.

The campaign, focused on the “Hulaki Highway’, will progress across the country, reaching Mahakali before shifting to the Madan Bhandari Highway.

It will conclude at the foothills of Mount Everest in Solukhumbu.

The fifth plenary meeting of the Maoist Center in Jhapa has already outlined the plan for the campaign.

Current activities include mobilizing party workers and organizing village-town conventions, party sources said.

Party leaders, including Deputy General Secretary Haribol Gajurel, emphasized that the campaign, starting in Jhapa, aims to address internal contradictions and correct political mistakes.

Gajurel said that this campaign will help strengthen the party, which he stated has weakened due to errors, not just leadership weaknesses.
