Today’s foreign currency exchange rates



KATHMANDU: Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has published today’s (Sunday) exchange rates for foreign currencies.

Today, the exchange rates for most foreign currencies, including the US dollar, Australian dollar, Kuwaiti and Bahraini dinars, pounds, and euros, remain stable, with prices unchanged from Saturday.

According to the published rates, the buying rate for one US dollar is 138 rupees 28 paisa, while the selling rate is 138 rupees 88 paisa—consistent with yesterday’s rates.

On Magh 2, the buying rate of one US dollar was 138 rupees 32 paisa and the selling rate was 138 rupees 92 paisa, marking the highest rate of the US dollar in the Nepali market so far.

After a slight decline last week, the US dollar price rebounded towards the end of the week.

Similarly, the buying rate for one euro today is 143 rupees 48 paisa, with the selling rate at 144 rupees 10 paisa.

The buying rate for one pound sterling is 171 rupees 60 paisa, and the selling rate is 172 rupees 34 paisa.

For the Australian dollar, the buying rate is 85 rupees 89 paisa, and the selling rate is 86 rupees 26 paisa.

The buying rate for one Kuwaiti dinar today is 448 rupees 19 paisa, with the selling rate at 450 rupees 13 paisa.

Additionally, the buying rate for one Bahraini dinar is 366 rupees 81 paisa, while the selling rate is 368 rupees 40 paisa.
