Earthquake tremors felt in Kathmandu

KATHMANDU: Tremors of an earthquake were felt in the Kathmandu Valley at 1:03 pm on Thursday.

According to the Android Earthquake Alert System, the epicenter of the earthquake was located two kilometers from Jyamire in Dhading district.

This earthquake follows a series of seismic activities reported in the far western region of Nepal over the past few weeks.

The tremors in central Nepal highlight the increasing frequency of earthquakes in the region.

Residents in the Valley experienced mild shaking, but no immediate reports of damage or casualties have been received.
