UML secretariat meeting to discuss political situation and upcoming central committee meeting



KATHMANDU: The CPN-UML Secretariat is holding a meeting today at 12:30 pm at the party’s central office in Chyasal, according to the office’s secretary, Dr Bhishma Adhikari.

The meeting is expected to discuss key agenda items for the upcoming central committee meeting, which will be held on January 5 and 6. Other important matters, including the current political situation, will also be addressed.

In its previous meeting on December 25, 2024, the Secretariat had decided to call the central committee meeting, setting four major agendas which included a political report, updates on organizational work, approval of decisions made in past Secretariat, Standing Committee, and Politburo meetings, and discussions on current proposals.
