Today’s foreign currency exchange rates



KATHMANDU: Nepal Rastra Bank has announced the foreign exchange rates for Thursday.

The US dollar remains steady, while fluctuations have been observed in other major currencies like the euro, pound sterling, and Australian dollar. Meanwhile, the Kuwaiti and Bahraini dinars have shown slight increases in their values.

According to the latest exchange rates published by the central bank, the buying rate for one US dollar today is Rs. 136.74, and the selling rate is Rs. 137.34. This marks a continued rise in the dollar’s value over recent months.

Yesterday, the buying rate for one US dollar was Rs 136.69, and the selling rate was Rs 137.29.

Similarly, the buying rate for one euro today is Rs 141.35, while the selling rate stands at Rs 142.15.

Yesterday, the buying rate for one euro was Rs 141.40, and the selling rate was Rs 142.20.

The pound sterling today is priced at Rs 171.25 for buying and Rs 172.00 for selling.

Yesterday, the pound’s buying rate was Rs 171.50, and the selling rate was Rs 172.25.

The Australian dollar’s buying rate today is Rs 84.62, with a selling rate of Rs 84.99.

Yesterday, the buying rate for one Australian dollar was Rs 84.75, and the selling rate was Rs 85.10.

The Kuwaiti dinar has also increased slightly, with a buying rate of Rs 443.60 and a selling rate of Rs 445.55 today.

Yesterday, the Kuwaiti dinar’s buying rate was Rs 443.30, and the selling rate was Rs 445.25.

Similarly, the Bahraini dinar today is at Rs 362.72 for buying and Rs 364.31 for selling.

Yesterday, the buying rate for one Bahraini dinar was Rs 362.38, and the selling rate was Rs 363.97.

Nepal Rastra Bank has stated that these rates are subject to revision as needed, and commercial banks may set slightly different rates.
