Acting Chief Election Commissioner meets NA Chair to discuss upcoming elections



 

KATHMANDU: Acting Chief Election Commissioner Ram Prasad Bhandari met with National Assembly Chair Narayan Prasad Dahal on Monday at Dahal’s office in Singha Durbar.

During the meeting, Bhandari briefed the chair on preparations and actions taken by the Election Commission for the National Assembly elections scheduled for January 25. He also provided updates on the commission’s preparations for the House of Representatives elections set for March 5.

Chair Dahal appreciated the Election Commission’s proactive approach, stating that its initiatives have created a conducive environment for the elections. He further assured that the National Assembly is ready to provide necessary support to ensure the elections are conducted successfully.
