Health Minister Sudha Sharma holds courtesy meeting with Sri Lankan Ambassador on recent disaster



KATHMANDU: Health and Population Minister Dr. Sudha Sharma held a courtesy meeting with Sri Lanka’s Ambassador to Nepal, Ruwanthi Delpitiya, on Monday.

During the meeting, the ambassador briefed Minister Gautam on the recent devastating floods in Sri Lanka caused by Cyclone “Ditwah.” She also expressed gratitude for the assistance provided by the Nepalese government so far and requested further support for relief efforts.

Responding, Minister Sharma conveyed her deep sorrow and solidarity with the Sri Lankan government and people over the loss of life and property caused by the disaster. She reaffirmed Nepal’s commitment to provide additional support during this crisis.
