Prachanda criticizes Janardan for ‘walking out after speaking’

KATHMANDU: Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ has expressed dissatisfaction with leader Janardan Sharma’s decision to leave the party meeting immediately after expressing his dissenting views.

Speaking to reporters after the meeting, Prachanda said Sharma attended the party’s Mahadhiveshan Organizing Committee meeting but left without listening to others. “He left even when we asked him to stay. His habit of speaking his mind but not listening to others is not right,” Prachanda remarked.

He added that despite the disagreement, the party remains united. “We are all together in favor of party unity. By the November 3 meeting, Janardan will also be on board,” he said.

Prachanda refrained from making further comments on the matter.
