Manakamana Cable Car service suspended for three days from today



CHITWAN: The Manakamana Cable Car service has been suspended for three days starting today, in observance of the Dashain festival.

According to Ujjwal Sherchan, Manager of the Manakamana Cable Car Company, services will resume on Saturday, October 4.

Operational since 1998, the Manakamana Cable Car is Nepal’s first cable car service. It transports thousands of devotees to the Manakamana Temple, located in Sahid Lakhan Thapa Rural Municipality of Gorkha district.
