Today’s foreign currency exchange rates



KATHMANDU: Nepal Rastra Bank has published the official foreign exchange rates for today. According to the central bank, the buying rate for 1 US dollar is set at Rs. 141.77, while the selling rate stands at Rs. 142.37.

The Euro is being traded at Rs. 166.42 (buying) and Rs. 167.13 (selling). Similarly, the UK Pound Sterling has a buying rate of Rs. 190.42 and a selling rate of Rs. 191.22, while the Swiss Franc is set at Rs. 177.66 (buying) and Rs. 178.41 (selling).

For other currencies, the Australian Dollar is valued at Rs. 93.69 (buying) and Rs. 94.09 (selling), the Canadian Dollar at Rs. 101.83 (buying) and Rs. 102.26 (selling), and the Singapore Dollar at Rs. 109.88 (buying) and Rs. 110.35 (selling). The buying rate for 10 Japanese Yen is Rs. 9.58, while the selling rate is Rs. 9.62. The Chinese Yuan is being traded at Rs. 19.91 (buying) and Rs. 20.00 (selling).

Among the Gulf currencies, the Saudi Riyal is valued at Rs. 37.80 (buying) and Rs. 37.96 (selling), and the Qatari Riyal at Rs. 38.89 (buying) and Rs. 39.06 (selling). The Thai Baht is being exchanged at Rs. 4.37 (buying) and Rs. 4.39 (selling), while the UAE Dirham is at Rs. 38.60 (buying) and Rs. 38.76 (selling).

The Malaysian Ringgit is trading at Rs. 33.69 (buying) and Rs. 33.83 (selling). For the South Korean Won, the rate for 100 units is Rs. 10.10 (buying) and Rs. 10.14 (selling).

The Swedish Kronor has a buying rate of Rs. 15.05 and selling rate of Rs. 15.11, while the Danish Kronor is set at Rs. 22.29 (buying) and Rs. 22.39 (selling). The Hong Kong Dollar is trading at Rs. 18.22 (buying) and Rs. 18.30 (selling).

Meanwhile, the Kuwaiti Dinar has one of the highest values, set at Rs. 463.98 (buying) and Rs. 465.94 (selling). The Bahraini Dinar is being traded at Rs. 375.90 (buying) and Rs. 377.49 (selling), while the Omani Rial stands at Rs. 368.21 (buying) and Rs. 369.77 (selling).

As for the Indian Rupee, the buying rate for Rs. 100 is Rs. 160.00, while the selling rate is Rs. 160.15.

Nepal Rastra Bank has stated that these exchange rates are subject to change as needed. Commercial banks may offer slightly different rates, and the most updated rates are available on the central bank’s official website.
