Dhawal Shamsher Rana appointed acting coordinator of Joint People’s Movement Committee

KATHMANDU: Dhawal Shamsher Rana, General Secretary of the Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP), has been appointed as the acting coordinator of the Joint People’s Movement Committee.

The appointment came after coordinator Navaraj Subedi announced that he would be abroad for some time and delegated the responsibility to Rana on Monday.

The pro-monarchy group, under Subedi’s leadership, had formed the Joint People’s Movement Committee on March 27, advocating for the restoration of the monarchy, abolition of federalism, and re-establishment of Nepal as a Hindu state.
