Gold price hits new record in Nepal



KATHMANDU: Gold prices in Nepal continue to climb, breaking daily records as demand and international market trends push rates higher. On Monday, the price of gold reached Rs 205,300 per tola, setting a fresh all-time high, according to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association.

The upward trend began earlier in the week. On Friday, gold was priced at Rs 200,600 per tola, which rose to Rs 203,600 per tola on Sunday, both days marking record levels. Monday’s increase of Rs 2,000 further extends the streak of rising prices.

Silver prices have also hit new highs. On Sunday, silver was trading at Rs 2,425 per tola, climbing to Rs 2,470 per tola on Monday.
