Today’s foreign currency exchange rates



KATHMANDU: Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has published the official foreign exchange rates for today.

According to the central bank, the buying rate of one US dollar is Rs 140.82, and the selling rate is Rs 141.42. Similarly, the euro is being bought at Rs 164.56 and sold at Rs 165.26, while the UK pound sterling is being bought at Rs 190.17 and sold at Rs 190.98.

The Swiss franc has a buying rate of Rs 175.90 and a selling rate of Rs 176.65. The Australian dollar is being bought at Rs 92.10 and sold at Rs 92.50, while the Canadian dollar is being bought at Rs 102.45 and sold at Rs 102.89.

For the Singapore dollar, the buying rate is Rs 109.70, and the selling rate is Rs 110.17. The rate for 10 Japanese yen stands at Rs 9.58 (buying) and Rs 9.62 (selling). Similarly, the Chinese yuan is being bought at Rs 19.75 and sold at Rs 19.83.

Similarly, the Saudi riyal has a buying rate of Rs 37.53 and a selling rate of Rs 37.69, while the Qatari riyal is at Rs 38.53 (buying) and Rs 38.69 (selling). The Thai baht is being bought at Rs 4.36 and sold at Rs 4.38, and the UAE dirham is at Rs 38.34 (buying) and Rs 38.51 (selling).

For the Malaysian ringgit, the buying rate is Rs 33.33, and the selling rate is Rs 33.47. The rate for 100 South Korean won stands at Rs 10.14 (buying) and Rs 10.18 (selling). The Danish kroner is being bought at Rs 22.05 and sold at Rs 22.14.

The Hong Kong dollar has a buying rate of Rs 18.06 and a selling rate of Rs 18.14. The Kuwaiti dinar is being bought at Rs 460.95 and sold at Rs 462.91, while the Bahraini dinar is at Rs 373.53 (buying) and Rs 375.12 (selling). The Omani rial is being bought at Rs 366.24 and sold at Rs 367.80.

Additionally, 100 Indian rupees are valued at Rs 160.00 for buying and Rs 160.15 for selling.

Nepal Rastra Bank has stated that these rates are subject to change as needed. The exchange rates set by individual commercial banks may vary, and the latest rates can be found on the central bank’s official website.
