KATHMANDU: Nepal Rastra Bank has published the foreign currency exchange rates for today. According to the central bank, the buying rate of one US dollar is fixed at Rs 139.86, while the selling rate is Rs 140.46.
The buying rate of one euro stands at Rs 159.99 and the selling rate at Rs 160.68. Similarly, the buying and selling rates for one pound sterling are Rs 184.99 and Rs 185.78, respectively. The Swiss franc is being traded at Rs 172.06 for buying and Rs 172.80 for selling.
The Australian dollar has a buying rate of Rs 90.10 and a selling rate of Rs 90.49, while the Canadian dollar is priced at Rs 101.04 and Rs 101.47, respectively. For the Singapore dollar, the buying rate is Rs 107.80 and the selling rate is Rs 108.26.
Similarly, the rate for 10 Japanese yen is Rs 9.32 (buying) and Rs 9.36 (selling). One Chinese yuan is traded at Rs 19.44 (buying) and Rs 19.52 (selling). The Saudi Arabian riyal is set at Rs 37.28 for buying and Rs 37.44 for selling, while the Qatari riyal is priced at Rs 38.37 and Rs 38.53, respectively.
The Thai baht has a buying rate of Rs 4.28 and a selling rate of Rs 4.30. The UAE dirham is valued at Rs 38.08 (buying) and Rs 38.24 (selling), while the Malaysian ringgit is set at Rs 32.79 and Rs 32.93. The rate for 100 South Korean won is Rs 10.03 (buying) and Rs 10.07 (selling). The Swedish kronor trades at Rs 14.34 and Rs 14.40, and the Danish krone at Rs 21.44 and Rs 21.53, respectively.
According to the Rastra Bank, one Hong Kong dollar is valued at Rs 17.82 (buying) and Rs 17.89 (selling). The Kuwaiti dinar is fixed at Rs 457.18 for buying and Rs 459.14 for selling.
The Bahraini dinar has a buying rate of Rs 370.98 and a selling rate of Rs 372.57, while the Omani rial is priced at Rs 363.26 and Rs 364.82. The buying and selling rates for one hundred Indian rupees remain fixed at Rs 160.
Meanwhile, Nepal Rastra Bank has stated that these rates are subject to change and may be revised at any time. Exchange rates offered by commercial banks may vary slightly, and the most up-to-date rates can be found on the central bank’s official website.
