National Assembly meeting taking place today



KATHMANDU: The National Assembly is scheduled to meet today at 12:15 PM at the Federal Parliament Building in New Baneshwor.

During today’s meeting, discussions will be held on the appropriation titles under the Appropriation Bill, 2082, including those related to seven ministries, the Office of the President, the Office of the Vice President, the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers, and the Secretariat of the National Planning Commission.

In addition, the concerned minister will respond to questions raised during discussions on the appropriation titles of 11 ministries, according to te Federal Parliament Secretariat.

National Assembly Secretary Dr. Surendra Aryal is set to present the message received from the House of Representatives regarding the ‘Citizenship Bill-2082’ to the Assembly.

Furthermore, the Assembly will pass the ‘Bill to Amend Some Nepal Acts, 2080,’ which has also been received from the House of Representatives.

The Parliament Secretariat has informed the Assembly of a letter received from the Office of the President outlining a possible agenda.
