Today’s foreign currency exchange rates



KATHMANDU; Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has published today’s foreign currency exchange rates.

According to NRB, the exchange rate for the US dollar has been set at Rs. 133 for buying and slightly higher for selling.

The exchange rate for the euro stands at Rs. 154, while the Australian dollar is valued at around Rs. 80.

The Japanese yen is trading at approximately Rs. 0.89 per unit, with 100 yen equivalent to about Rs. 89. The Chinese yuan is set at around Rs. 18.

According to the central bank, the Thai baht, Malaysian ringgit, and other currencies such as the Qatari riyal and Kuwaiti dinar are also included in today’s exchange list.

Likewise, the Qatari riyal has a buying rate of around Rs. 34 and a selling rate close to Rs. 35, while the Kuwaiti dinar’s buying rate is approximately Rs. 445 and the selling rate is about Rs. 446.

The Indian rupee is pegged at Rs. 160 for 100 INR. NRB noted that these rates are subject to change and may differ slightly from rates offered by commercial banks. The most up-to-date rates are available on the official NRB website.
