KATHMANDU: The official poster for the upcoming Nepali film ‘Jante Bakhro’, set to release on June 6, 2025, has been made public. The poster prominently features the main cast—and a goat wearing pink sunglasses, hinting at the film’s unique and humorous tone.

Blending humor, mystery, a rural setting, and contemporary social themes, Jante Bakhro promises a fresh cinematic experience. The expressions and body language of the characters in the poster suggest an engaging storyline with unexpected twists.

Actors featured in the poster include Saugat Malla, Garima Sharma, Ashif Shah, Lokendra Lekhak, Bishal Pahari, Kamal Devkota, and Rusha Neupane, among others.

The central placement of the goat hints at its symbolic or narrative importance, suggesting layers of comedy and intrigue.

The poster was designed by Royal Bhimsen and the Trident Concept Team.

Directed by Simosh Sunuwar, the film also stars Rama Thapaliya, Kusum Sharma, Sneha Joshi, Samapika Gautam, and Kushal Gajmer. Two songs from the film—’Ghamai Raja’ and ‘Angurko Jhuppo’—have already garnered positive responses from audiences.

Jante Bakhro, presented by Muin Entertainment, is a social comedy written by Pradeep Bhardwaj and produced by Santosh Gautam. The story is inspired by a traditional Nepali custom, where a special feast—’Jante Bakhro’—is served to the bride on her wedding day.

The film is directed by Hari Humagain, cinematographed by Uttam Humagain, and edited by Sunil Shivabhakti. Distributed by Tfolk Films, the movie’s digital rights have been acquired by Zee Two One Digital.
