Today’s foreign currency exchange rates



KATHMANDU: The Nepal Rastra Bank has released Thursday’s foreign exchange rates.

As per the bank, the buying rate for the US dollar is set at Rs 134.89, while the selling rate is Rs 135.49. For the euro, the buying and selling rates are Rs 153.46 and Rs 154.49, respectively.

The British pound is being exchanged at Rs 180.27 for buying and Rs 181.08 for selling. Similarly, the Swiss franc is priced at Rs 163.56 for buying and Rs 164.29 for selling.

The Australian dollar is valued at Rs 86.26 for buying and Rs 86.64 for selling. The Canadian dollar stands at Rs 97.54 for buying and Rs 97.73 for selling, while the Singapore dollar is traded at Rs 103.27 and Rs 103.73, respectively.

In terms of Asian currencies, the rate for 10 Japanese yen is Rs 9.44 for buying and Rs 9.48 for selling. The Chinese yuan is exchanged at Rs 18.56 for buying and Rs 18.65 for selling.

The Saudi riyal is trading at Rs 35.96 and Rs 36.12, and the Qatari riyal at Rs 37.01 and Rs 37.17. The Thai baht is available at Rs 4.03 for buying and Rs 4.05 for selling, while the UAE dirham stands at Rs 36.72 and Rs 36.89.

The Malaysian ringgit is being traded at Rs 31.26 for buying and Rs 31.40 for selling. One hundred South Korean won is set at Rs 9.49 for buying and Rs 9.53 for selling.

The Swedish kronor is priced at Rs 14.00 and Rs 14.06, and the Danish kronor at Rs 20.56 and Rs 20.65.

Among the Gulf currencies, the Hong Kong dollar is valued at Rs 17.39 for buying and Rs 17.47 for selling.

The Kuwaiti dinar is exchanged at Rs 440.26 for buying and Rs 442.21 for selling, while the Bahraini dinar stands at Rs 357.81 and Rs 359.40. The Omani rial is set at Rs 350.37 for buying and Rs 351.93 for selling.

Similarly, the rate for 100 Indian rupees is fixed at Rs 160.00 for buying and Rs 160.15 for selling.
