Call to make Birgunj the economic capital

BIRGUNJ: Prabhu Sah, Chair of the Aam Janata Party, has advocated for the development of Birgunj, an industrial and trade hub, into the country’s economic capital.

According to Sah, the town’s thriving economic activities demonstrate its potential to be developed as the nation’s economic center.

Speaking at a press conference organized by the party today, the House of Representatives (HoR) lawmaker emphasized the importance of cooperation between the government and the private sector for the country’s economic growth.

“The size of the country’s internal and external debts is growing,” he said, highlighting the need for policies to promote domestic industries and factories.
