Parliament winter session to end tonight



KATHMANDU: The ongoing sessions of both houses of the federal parliament have been officially concluded by President Ram Chandra Paudel, effective from midnight tonight.

The decision to end the sessions was made on the recommendation of the Council of Ministers, in accordance with Clause (2) of Article 93 of the Constitution of Nepal.

This move follows a meeting of the Council of Ministers held on Monday, which unanimously decided to recommend the termination of the ongoing parliamentary sessions.
