KATHMANDU: The second semi-final match of the KP Oli Cup Championship Football will take place today at Dashrath Stadium, where KP Oli Football Club will compete against Machhindra Club. The match is set to kick off at 5 pm.

KP Oli FC secured their spot in the semi-finals by defeating New Road Team, while Machhindra Club advanced after overcoming Bhutan’s Transport United.

The winner of today’s match will face Tribhuvan Army Club in the final.

In the first semi-final held on Friday, Tribhuvan Army Club defeated Sankata Club 2-1 to claim their place in the championship match.

The final match of the nine-team tournament is scheduled for Monday.

The champion will receive a cash prize of Rs 1.5 million, while the runner-up will be awarded Rs. 5 million.

Italian football legend Gianluigi Buffon will be the chief guest at the final.
