NEA announces power cuts in multiple areas of Kathmandu



KATHMANDU: The Nepal Electricity Authority (NEA) has announced power cuts in Satungal and other areas of Kathmandu today (Saturday) for maintenance work, including increasing conductor capacity.

According to a notice from the NEA, power will be cut in areas such as Kanchan Gate, Bossigaun, Bothali, and Satungal Chowk, which fall under the Balambu feeder, from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM.

The NEA has apologized for any inconvenience caused to customers and assured that if the work is completed earlier than expected, electricity will be restored before the scheduled time.

Additionally, the Mulpani Substation Construction Project has informed that electricity supply will be halted in areas including the Baneshwor, Maharajgunj, Ratnapark, Jorpati, Balaju, and Kuleshwor Distribution Centers by this evening for technical work at the ongoing substation construction.
