Unity needed to safeguard democracy, nationality, CPN (Maoist Centre) general secretary says



HETAUDA: General Secretary of CPN (Maoist Centre) Dev Prasad Gurung has said that all should unite to safeguard democracy and nationality.

At a news conference organized by Press Centre Nepal Makawanpur chapter on Saturday, Gurung said that joining hands from all sides was needed to safeguard Nepal’s sovereignty in the context of shift in the international political arena.

Gurung said that the government should be serious to embrace Nepal’s foreign policy to align with the changing global context.

Likewise, the Maoist Centre’s general secretary also criticized the government’s move to bring ordinances, bypassing the parliament.
