Nepal’s governance driven by singular racial mindset: Rajendra Mahato

KATHMANDU: Rajendra Mahato, chair of the Rastriya Mukti Party Nepal, has criticized Nepal’s governance, claiming it operates under a singular racial mindset.

Speaking at a ‘Grand Gathering and Party Induction Program’ at Krishna Bhog Party Palace in Kathmandu on Saturday, Mahato stressed the need to shift from this mindset and establish a multi-national state. He emphasized that a national liberation revolution is necessary to bring about this change.

Mahato also urged youths to focus on self-employment within the country instead of seeking opportunities abroad. He advocated for strengthening domestic production and argued that ideologies like communism and capitalism are no longer relevant in Nepal, calling for a shift towards nationalist thought.

During the program, Mahato welcomed hundreds of new members into the party, including Sivendra Yadav, Talim Akhtar, Akash Sah, and Devendra Nyaupane, under the leadership of party leader Keshav Jha.
