KATHMANDU: Property worth around Rs 6.5 million perished in a fire occurred at Thamel this afternoon.

The fire broke out due to short circuit in a house of Bhabishwor Sharma located at Kathmandu Metropolitan City-26, according to the Police Headquarters.

The blaze was doused with the help of security persons, locals and fire engines.
