Two injured in rhino attack in Chitwan



KATHMANDU: Two women sustained injuries following a rhino attack in East Chitwan early this morning.

Sita Nepal, 45, and Januka Mahat, 60, residents of Kasigaun, Khairhani Municipality-1, were injured in the incident.

Bheshraj Rijal, spokesperson for the District Police Office, reported that the attack occurred at around 6:20 am while the women were warming themselves near a fire at their home.

Both were promptly taken to Bharatpur Hospital for treatment.

The hospital has confirmed their condition is stable, providing relief to the concerned community. Authorities are monitoring the situation to prevent further incidents.
