Tarai affected by mist and fog today



KATHMANDU: The country is currently experiencing partial influence of westerly winds.

This morning (Tuesday), mist and fog are widespread across many areas of the Tarai, while the rest of the country is mostly clear, according to the Weather Forecasting Division.

The Division forecasts a possibility of rain in some regions today due to the westerly wind.

In a bulletin issued on Tuesday morning, which analyzes the weather for the next 24 hours, the Division stated, “Mist and fog are likely in many areas of the Tarai and the valley in the morning, which may affect daily life, tourism, mountaineering, road transport, and aviation during that time. Necessary precautions are advised.”
