Two killed in tipper accident in Sankhuwasabha



SANKHUWASABHA: Two Indian laborers working on the Arun III Hydropower Project lost their lives in a tipper accident at Faksinda Dobhan, Makalu Rural Municipality-5, on Wednesday evening.

The accident involved a tipper truck with license plate HP 11-4933, according to Deputy Superintendent of Police Daksha Kumar Basnet from the District Police Office.

The deceased were identified as 57-year-old Shailendra Pratap Singh, the driver, and 29-year-old Sarukh Mohammad, both Indian nationals working on the Arun III project.

Two other Indian nationals were injured in the accident and are currently receiving treatment at the district hospital in Khandbari.
