NOC reduces petroleum product prices



KATHMANDU: Nepal Oil Corporation (NOC) has announced a reduction in the prices of petroleum products, effective from midnight on Saturday.

The NOC has decreased the price of petrol by Rs 2 per liter, bringing it to Rs 163 per liter in Kathmandu, Pokhara, and Dipayal. This new rate will also apply to Surkhet and Dang.

In Charali, Biratnagar, Amlekhgunj, Janakpur, Bhalbari, Nepalgunj, Dhangadhi, and Birganj, petrol will be priced at Rs 160.50 per liter.

The prices of kerosene and diesel have also been reduced by Rs 1 per liter.

Additionally, the cost of domestic aviation fuel has been lowered by Rs 5 per liter, while international aviation fuel prices have been reduced by $37 per kilometer.

The price of LP gas for cooking remains unchanged.
