Gold price hits record high



KATHMANDU: The price of gold increased by Rs 1,700 per tola in the domestic market today.

According to the Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association, the price of fine gold has been fixed at Rs 142,200 per tola, while standard gold is currently traded at Rs 141,500 per tola.

This marks the highest price for gold to date.

On Thursday, the price of fine gold was Rs 140,500 per tola, and standard gold was traded at Rs 139,800 per tola.

Meanwhile, silver is being traded at Rs 1,875 per tola.

It should be noted that a tola equates to approximately 11.66 grams.
