CM Sharma of Karnali province to face confidence vote on Tuesday



KATHMANDU: Chief Minister Raj Kumar Sharma of Karnali Province is set to undergo a vote of confidence on Tuesday, as announced by the provincial secretariat.

CM Sharma will seek the vote of confidence after the Nepali Congress withdrew its support from the provincial government due to recent changes in the political landscape at the federal level.

According to constitutional provisions, if any coalition members retract their support, the government must seek a vote of confidence within 30 days.
