Landslide blocks Besisahar-Chame road



LAMJUNG: The Bensisahar-Chame road in Lamjung has been obstructed due to a landslide.

This route, connecting Lamjung and Manang, was disrupted in Masryangdi Rural Municipality-4, Srichaur, due to heavy rainfall triggering the landslide.

Thaneshwar Chapai, the Information Officer at the District Police Office Lamjung, stated that the landslide has left passengers stranded as vehicles cannot traverse the affected area.

Efforts are underway to clear the obstruction and reopen the road.

Authorities have alerted the Dumre-Bensisahar-Chame road planning office to address the situation promptly.
