KATHMANDU: A meeting of the House of Representatives (HoR) is taking place today.
The meeting is scheduled to take place at 11 am at the Federal Parliament Building in New Baneswor.
The meeting will kick off with the Speaker’s announcement, unveiling missives from the Office of the President and the Prime Minister, alongside the Council of Ministers’ directives regarding forthcoming duties.
Among the discussions slated for today, Minister of Energy, Water Resources, and Irrigation, Shakti Bahadur Basnet, will present a proposal for a comprehensive dialogue on the agreements pertinent to the establishment of the International Solar Alliance (ISA).
Finance Minister, Barsaman Pun, will steer deliberations with a proposal seeking authorization for the introduction of the Banks and Financial Institutions (First Amendment) Bill 2080, marking a pivotal milestone on the legislative forefront.
Similarly, Federal Affairs and General Administration Minister, Bhanubhakta Joshi, will steer discussions with an agenda to propel the Construction Materials (Management and Regulation) Bill 2080 towards the relevant committee for thorough quarterly scrutiny.
