Prachanda accuses Oli of deceit during speech in Jhapa

JHAPA: CPN (Maoist Center) chair Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ has accused Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli of being consumed by deceit and manipulation.

Speaking at a party-organized mass rally in Gauriganj, Jhapa, on Monday, Prachanda stated that Oli’s mind is focused solely on dishonesty.

“This is the place of the current Prime Minister. A person known for deceit, treachery, dishonesty, and betrayal. I must say, I have probably arrived at the place of someone who embodies these traits. There seems to be nothing else in his mind,” said Prachanda.

He also vowed to expose irregularities allegedly conducted by Oli at the Giribandhu Tea Estate. “I will uncover the malpractices he committed at Giribandhu Tea Estate,” he declared.

Prachanda claimed that he was removed from the position of Prime Minister in an undemocratic and authoritarian manner for attempting to act against corruption.

He alleged, “I was forcefully removed because I was planning action against corruption. My focus was heading toward Giribandhu, which ultimately points toward Oli.”

The Maoist chair further accused Nepali Congress president Sher Bahadur Deuba of being alarmed after the Bhutanese refugee scam investigation pointed toward his circle following the arrest of Bechan Jha.

“When Bechan Jha was arrested, the investigation began turning toward another direction, and the Congress president became terrified,” he said.

Dahal denied any involvement of his party in the Shera Durbar case in Nuwakot, emphasizing that the accused individual had left the party 15 years ago.

“Even if any of our leaders are implicated, I will not spare them. I have called for a thorough investigation into the matter,” he asserted.
