NPL: Janakpur Bolts wins Biratnagar by eight wickets



KATHMANDU: Janakpur Bolts secured a victory over Biratnagar Kings in the opening match of the Nepal Premier League today.

Chasing a target of 127 runs set by Biratnagar Kings, Janakpur scored 131 runs in 15 overs, losing just 2 wickets to claim the win.

Janakpur Bolts began their NPL campaign with an impressive 8-wicket win over Biratnagar Kings in the tournament’s opening match.

The victory was set up by strong bowling performances from Lalit Rajbanshi, Kishor Mahato, and Harsh Thakar, along with a brilliant half-century from Lahiru Milantha.

Chasing a target of 128 runs set by Biratnagar, Janakpur reached the target comfortably, losing just 2 wickets in 15.3 overs.
