Jhalanath Khanal leaving for China today



KATHMANDU: Former Prime Minister and leader of the Unified Socialist Party, Jhalanath Khanal, is leaving for China on Saturday (today).

Khanal is attending the 8th edition of the Understanding China Conference-2024, according to Dr. Shankar Khatiwada, Secretary of the party’s Foreign Department.

Khanal will be in China for seven days, and Secretary Khatiwada will also accompany him.

Khanal, who will arrive in Beijing today, is set to meet high-level Chinese leaders on December 1.

The Understanding China Conference-2024 is being jointly organized by the China Institute for Innovation and Development Strategy, the Chinese People’s Institute of Foreign Affairs, and the Guangzhou Provincial People’s Government.
