HoR meeting taking place today



KATHMANDU: The House of Representatives (HoR) of the Federal Parliament is taking place today at 1 pm.

During the meeting, Speaker Devraj Ghimire is scheduled to read a letter from the President’s office concerning the verification of a bill.

Additionally, the Speaker will propose members for the Monitoring and Evaluation Committee, which oversees the implementation of the directive principles, policies, and obligations of the state, as outlined in sub-rule (2) of Rule 28 of the Federal Parliament Joint Meeting and Joint Committee (Operation) Regulations, 2080.

Furthermore, Finance Minister Bishnu Paudel is expected to propose that the “Secure Transactions (First Amendment) Bill, 2081,” which originated in the National Assembly, be referred to the relevant committee for quarterly discussion.
