Effective from midnight today, the prices of petrol, diesel, and kerosene have been raised.

The NOC cited the increase in prices by the Indian Oil Corporation as a reason for adjusting prices in Nepal.

Accordingly, the new rates are Rs 2 per liter higher for petrol and Rs 5 per liter higher for diesel and kerosene.

In the first category areas such as Charali, Biratnagar, Janakpur, Amlekhgunj, Nepalgunj, Dhangadhi, and Birgunj, petrol is now priced at Rs 164.50 per liter, while diesel stands at Rs 154.50.

In the second category, petrol is priced at Rs 166 per liter and diesel at Rs 156 per liter.

In Kathmandu, Pokhara, and Dipayal, classified under the third category, petrol is now priced at Rs 167 per liter, with diesel at Rs 157 per liter.

The prices of aviation fuel and LP gas remain unchanged as per the corporation’s announcement.
