SURKHET: Two people have died in a road accident that took place early this morning near Ratanagala in Birendranagar municipality along the Surkhet-Dailekh road section.
The accident involved a jeep with passengers going to Kalikot from Surkhet.
According to the District Traffic Police Office, Surkhet, the body of one of the deceased was found stuck in a tree and the two injured have been rushed to the provincial hospital for treatment.
Details of the accident are yet to be received. Meanwhile, as soon as information about the accident was received, a team of security personnel was mobilized for rescue, the Office said.
